Coming Concerts

Two more great events to look forward toward this weekend from WPA Performance Grant winners!! Much to Celebrate at National Women's Music Festival!

The 41st annual National Women’s Music Festival is taking place June 30-July 3 in Middleton, WI.  Each year the Festival celebrates women’s work across musical genres with exciting performances and workshops.  We are especially excited this year to support the National Women’s Music Festival Orchestra with a WPA Performance Grant in the commissioning of a new work by Mary Watkins. Upcoming Performances

The fantastic performances keep coming with another round of concerts supported in part by WPA Performance Grants! New Music This Weekend

We are looking forward to another great weekend of concerts from WPA Performance Grant winners! On Friday, April 1 the American Composers Orchestra will present a concert of works inspired by Indian and Middle Eastern traditions.  Three World Premieres will be featured, including Avartan by Indian-American composer Reena Esmail.  Also being performed Friday is The Metamorphosis of Narcissus by Gity Razaz.   On Saturday, April 2 the Hartford Independent Chamber Orchestra (HICO) will present Ribbon Earth by contemporary American composer Kristin Kuster.  Learn more about the work here.
