A Nobel Honor for Amy Beach

We are thrilled that the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of Joana Carneiro, will be performing second movement, Alla Siciliana of Amy Beach’s “Gaelic” Symphony in E minor, Op. 32 (Women’s Philharmonic Advocacy Publications’ revised edition) for the Nobel Prize Awards Ceremony! The Ceremony will take place on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 4:30 P.M. Central European Time (CET, which is 10:30 A.M. EST) and will be streamed live on the Nobel website.  The various events will be televised on a number of different channels around the world as well.
