The Guardian has a review of a new recording of songs collected by King Henry VIII’s most famous wife, titled Anne Boleyn’s Songbook.  Check out the story for more information about the book itself, now held at the Royal College of Music, and the musical life of Anne Boleyn.

NPR interviewed Zuhal Sultan – the young woman who began The Iraqi Youth Orchestra.  An inspiring story and a reminder of how important music is even – or perhaps especially – in areas of conflict.  Listen below:
