There’s a new YouTube channel dedicated to new operas. Created by the London-based opera company Tête à Tête, the channel will allow users to upload new works, create playlists, and create community in support of new works to add to the repertoire. Read more about it at The Stage.
AND — it’s time for Women’s Philharmonic Advocacy to celebrate our 10th anniversary! We were founded in 2008, so — before 2018 slips by us — let’s honor our achievements, our goals, and all that we hold dear as our source of inspiration, namely The Women’s Philharmonic. We were founded with the goal of continuing the legacy of The Women’s Philharmonic, and thus we’d like to launch a series of reflections by people who were positively impacted by TWP. Our first essay is by Dr. Kathleen McGuire.
Let us know what we missed, and what you are listening to!
