ROCO Performs Mendelssohn and Higdon

There are two chances this weekend to hear the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra (ROCO) of Houston, TX present exactly the kind of diverse program that audiences have been calling for.  It was because of this thoughtful, inclusive, and engaging programming that the ROCO was a recipient of a WPA Performance Grant last  year!  (We are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2016 Grant Cycle.) Upcoming Performances

The fantastic performances keep coming with another round of concerts supported in part by WPA Performance Grants! On Saturday, April 9, the River Oaks Chamber Orchestra of Houston will present the world premiere of a new Trombone Concerto by Dorothy Gates (herself also a trombonist) .  The work was commissioned by the ROCO.  Find out more information about the concert here.    TODAY (Apr. 9) you can Listen Live!
