The Conference addresses the pressing question, “Why there are still so few women conductors and women composers in the classical concert business?” We will pursue answers with some renowned experts and with you. Information here and Participation form here (PDF)

- A music Interlude by Manuela Kerer (the “composer in residence” of the Archiv Frau und Musik, 2015)
- Film screening and discussion of the prizewinning documentary “Written by Mrs. Bach”
- a concert performance of the first opera by a woman, “La liberazione di Ruggiero dall’isola d’Alcina” composed by Francesca Caccini (1625), in the “Hercules Hall” of the Munich Residence, performed by the Huelgas Ensemble.
