It’s with a heavy heart that we share the news of the death of Jane Little – bass player with the Atlanta Symphony, and the worlds longest serving orchestral musician – has died after collapsing on stage. Read more at the Washington Post.
Bob Shingleton at On An Overgrown Path visited Morocco and experienced a workshop where women are encouraged to explore and embrace music. It’s a wonderful reminder that though professional musicians are making inroads to equality, huge gendered divides still exist throughout the world. A great read, which you can find here.
