The Georgia Tech Symphony Orchestra, winner of a 2014 Performance Grant, will be performing two works by women composers in their concert tonight!
GTSO conductor, Chaowen Ting, has arranged Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel’s String Quartet for string orchestra – a great project to showcase the chamber music of Hensel while giving opportunities for students and audiences to engage with the music in a new and exciting way.
The concert will also feature the world premiere of Novel Sphere by Hsin-Lei Chen, a rising Taiwanese composer.
