On March 24 the Berkeley Symphony will feature Sofia Gubaidulina’s Concerto for Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Band. Jessie Montgomery and Louise Farrenc will be featured by the Oakland Symphony on March 22. The San José Youth Chamber Orchestra performs Alma Deutscher’s Allegretto  as well as the rest movement of Concerto for Strings by Grazyna Bacewicz on March 18.
